I’ve never really bunted before, except with my pitcher to sacrifice. I see people bunting for basehits all the time and wonder how they do it because I suck at it. Any tips/trick? I usually use “triangle” and aim with my left stick. Am I doing it wrong?

People get lucky hits because the Fielding is atrocious this year. typically if you hold triangle and aim that would be a sacrifice bunt. If a card has really good bunting attributes you can tap triangle last-second for a drag bunt to attempt a base hit. Those used to be very far and few between. This year you can lay down any bunt and possibly win the race to first base with all the glitchy nonsense going on with Fielding.

right stick, pre pitch I believe. Then use the left stick to, IDK, move it to were the ball goes? Not sure if it really matters lol. But the handbook or manual for the last couple years has mentioned to use right stick to influence direction.

That’s helpful but you don’t know at what point I have to influence the direction using the right stick? All these years i’ve only pressed triangle and moved to left stick to where the ball goes in the zone lol
