Just hit a homerun glitch loss I think

Looking to no if I should report this guy or not.....??? I just hit a home run to tie game up 6 to 6 against someone with twitch in his name. Before my homerun landed the game says disconnected from oppenent. I have never lost my connection ever at this home. So I assumed he had to rage quit seen as all 12 of our runs were now on homeruns even though the game was tied..
Im pretty sure I could not have disconnected seen as I wound up in the game summary screen and still in the diamond dynasty menu I even got a game reward common for my tie game loss.
