Looks like you tried to move forward and that deactivated the tag animation. Should’ve just stayed at home plate and let the tag come to you. Obviously this still isn’t acceptable though.

I usually do exactly what you just said with regards to staying at home plate and letting the tag come to me, but in real time, my reflexes had me go towards him because he seemed far enough out for me to do so, but still, if I point in the runner's direction, he should still tag him out regardless. This should be an easy fix, and yet it will never get the attention to correct this.

You shouldnt have took off your face mask. He lost site of the runner while he took it off.
