Cant seem to do d!ck all in online play these days but I've beaten the AL Central showdown 5x in the past week. So I got that going for me at least lol

Honestly they can be kind of fun. I like the team building strategy of it. Plus a good amount of XP, stubs, and a couple packs.

Only frustrating part is the constant lineouts and BS plays from the CPU defense.

Agreed. But that's gonna happen in online play as well. I can almost accept/tolerate it a bit more in a showdown type mode than online right now.

But if the game (specifically hitting and fielding) doesnt improve much then my time with the game will be a short one as i want to play online. Heck, I may even go back to 19. I did enjoy playing that far more than I am this version.

AL Central is the easiest showdown and I'd recommend it be the one to start with... The minibosses are all little to no threat as you get way more outs to work with or require less runs than any other division

I do all the moments because I suck and need all the help I can get (lol) and it's usually around 1.5 hours. Of course, gotta factor in all the times I fail and a successful run is probably the same or more as an MTO lol

I'm actually sure MTO would yield more TA points a lot quicker but I'm trying to expand my horizon and challenge myself in Hope's that it eventually pays off in online play. I cant seem to hit for garbage right now.

Even being successful at showdown 50% of the time (@ 90 min avg) will net you more TA points per hr played vs MTO legend grind

Edit: mb not Legend but HOF at least

ive done 8 showdowns today and completed 4 FOTF cards. so much freaking fun, i treat it like BR without the stress of it.

There’s a combined total of 2100 TA points. How many points does everyone have? Think I have like 600, not even a 1/3 yet and stage 2 is right around the corner.. better get moving
