OK, so I like the color commentary a lot but in road to the show 24 Chris call Chris whatever annoyed the hell out of me and so now I’m playing this road to the show for 25 and they’re still using the same things that they say only it’s a little more polished than it was on 24. He’s not babbling on in Babylon on so he’s not really annoying me yet, but I don’t understand why it’s all the same commentary For the most part. I mean you would think you paid this much for a game that you would get new commentary not just every little bit New commentary from new commentators anybody else feel this way?

I personally like the commentary. I think it's just, you know, opinion.

Also I get it wanting brand new commentary every game, but that's just unrealistic.

Unless some type of AI is put into the game code, the commentary will eventually repeat itself. Keeping the same commentator team allows SDS to expand the commentator reportage with new recordings and code. And this has been done each year. It costs money to hire these people to go into a sound studio and read commentary.

More to the point of the OP, this view of "blaming" the talent for the way statements run over game action is really missing the cause. It isn't the commentator, it is the game code and folks, this is a game and we're not going to get pure perfection. Things like commentary is going to intrude on fast paced game action, especially if the player uses the advance button.

I think we need to try to keep things in perspective.
