DD Matchmaking is broken?

He was 2-0 also so maybe what your saying is correct but no way we should be paired against each other. His team ovr has to be 86/87. Mine was 80. Half my team were 79s lol
My first 2 dd games were on veteran. This game was on all star. Just curious, how is this determined?

As for "he must have bought his team" I had every ta diamond player in 6 days it was easy and quick to do, moment silver mission gold mission win 3 games pitch 12 innings and steal 3 bases and had the diamond player,Ok. From what I read if you do the moment it unlocks the Silver player. Then you do the Silver mission to unlock the Gold player. Than the 3 Gold missions to unlock the Jolt player?

After the silver mission you are at 15k,needing 10k for the gold player,3 SB 3 W 12 IP and 2 of those gets you to 25k,then the mission for the player gets you to 35k, 2 more wins and 18 IP gets you to 55k and the diamond.
I did the 3 wins and 12 IP in the cq maps,(also used the MS for the pitching missions, mostly the strikeouts as I had most of the others done by then)and then 2 vs CPU games for the 2 more wins and 18 IP, (the teams that didn't have diamonds were easy because it was 20k for completing their collection) racked up a few of the hitting missions in the process. -
When you become 2-0 then your rating could be over than 200, and it's all-star rating.

Why should a team’s overall rating impact match making at all? If you’re choosing to play ranked with golds and silvers, that’s you choosing to go into ranked with that squad. Your opponent may be choosing to use the team they grinded for.

getting a team of 86+s is easy at this stage
Most of the pipeline/new threads golds are perfectly fine tooSkill is significantly more important than overall either way

Lol that’s not how it works
Matching is based on ranking
If your if your current ranking is 200 you will be matched with players in the same ranking
Just like if you were 700 you’d be matched with some near 700
It doesn’t matter what cards a person has on their team

I will say matchmaking sucks (or at least did in past years) for Events and BR
But ranked always has the awkward phase of people settling into their true ranking. It took me 7 games to get above 200 but I think Im 3-1 since and I am trash.

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN it just seems like a mismatch. The game just came out. Many of us can do so much to get better players. I should be matched against other similar ovr teams until I can raise my ovr also. Jmo
Tbh, I'm sitting at 2-1. I won't go back into ranked until I have better cards. That [censored] wasn't fair.

@xXSharkyXx4757_XBL Matchmaking doesn't take team overall into account. its only about your DD Ranked Rating and Division. So if you were both 2-0 then you were in the same division The Divisions are also what determines difficulty.
