Fix the [censored] games there’s no way I should be striking out on a perfect perfect swing! Also if it says good swing I should be able hit the ball! Its not fair that my opponents are getting late hits or very late hits and everytime i swing and it says good I strike out fix the game!!

@savage_Isaac777_PSN Did you pay for the monthly hitting perk? If not this is all on you.
-
I just played back to back ranked games and it's so random that I don't wanna play anymore. Like so many should be hits to my opponents bloops. so many balls that are catchable that my fielders just don't try for. it's really bad.
-
@BLAISEBLAISE_PSN I think it helps if you encourage your fielders. Otherwise they won't hustle.
-
My fielders have pretty good defensive ratings, and they react just fine. Good hitters who are bad at defense tend to be bad defensively… sometimes they come up with a good read, but more often they hesitate, step the wrong way, or even flat out drop it.
Many people opt for good hitters and sacrifice defense, and then wonder why their defense is inconsistent. That’s not random.
Also, you aren’t striking out on a perfect/perfect. Saying you are severely diminishes your credibility.

nah, all of my cards are doing it, lucky for you if your defense is playing appropriately. don't try to dismiss other people's issues because you haven't had to deal with this [censored]. it's playing so bad right now. I've played this game a lot, it goes through spurts of being horrible. currently is in one, at least on my end. timing is off. it just isn't playing correctly and I can feel it. it makes me not want to play. it's so bad.

I play this game about as much as you do, and I doubt it's behaving differently for me.
Everyone is quick to point out that it's a video game when things they like are exaggerated (HRs, exit velos, etc.), but when things frustrate them, like poor reactions by their fielders and weak contact, those exaggerations become "broken" things. For people like me who enjoy playing defense, those things matter, and actually make the game more enjoyable because people who use hacks in the field to boost their offense should pay a price, defensively. If those poor reactions weren't exaggerated, you'd barely see them at all, and defense wouldn't matter.
I get that you're thinking they're grossly exaggerated, like I thought HRs were last year, and that's fine. But to my point, here's your defense, by position and reaction rating (give or take a few for parallels):
C-75, 1B-62, 2B-87, SS-82, 3B-76, LF-55, CF-75, RF-82
You should see inconsistency everywhere but your middle infielders and your right fielder, and even from them you should see occasional poor judgement at short and in right, with mostly yellow and blue reaction animations from 2B. You should expect butchery in LF, and generalized confusion at 1B.
I've played mostly with this:
C-71, 1B-75, 2B-80, SS-91, 3B-84, LF-84, CF-91, RF-79 (my outfield is also a lot faster)
I'm going to have a better defensive experience because I've built my team to avoid the experience you're having. You choose not to; that doesn't mean the game is broken.

@savage_Isaac777_PSN I've asked for years what value is feedback? Makes me madder most of the time because of the situation. Just yesterday I had a good swing, meat of the bat right down the middle with Last Ride Larry Walker off a common righty, but it was just an infield pop up. The 'good feedback' hits just seem to have very random results. Likely not even legit feedback.

@The_Joneser_PSN
I'd be willing to bet all those "misjudged/bloop hits" are dropping in left field...You can get lucky with that in a 3 inning game and feel like everything is fine when no balls are hit there. And then all of a sudden when numerous balls are... hold your breath.

that's cool that you did all that.
when Elly flubs 3 DBL plays in one game, yet they are ruled as hits, it means that it's playing differently.
100% playing differently. Definitely different than earlier this year and all of last year. it sucks because this is the only game I play and I've conditioned myself to a certain timing and gameplay, that is now different.
