Yes of course and for those of us who dislike showdowns it’s miserable

I think those are sellable so you could always grind for stubs and get them that way if you don't like the mode.

I had some where you were down 2, and some where it was 0-0.
They have 3 diamond perks in the peanut cart now
mission rewards are [censored], just a silver item to sell for 25 stubs. Showdown is either a pack or a gold item (uniforms mostly...so 100 stubs)
I feel rates are slightly increased, or maybe I just had a lot of spawns (didnt do the whole map, but like 80% of it) I had a good run and got 3 of the 4 cards on rookie with only failing one mini boss and get 2 hits 3x because each of the 3 times I grounded into a double play first at bat.

I'm iffy on showdowns and these were all 0-0 with 8 outs, I was 5/5 in them

yep, I had zero showdowns that didn't start 0-0. Probably 5 total. Did every space, rolled 1's no less than 7 times in my first 9 rolls. beat goblin, beat both stadiums on all star. got all 4 rewards cards. 22 packs, including 10 of those crappy new sliver equipment packs, one gold equipment and 11 regular packs. pulled nothing from those. sold all new cards quickly.

Diamond quest kinda sucks. Why would I waste my time for a chance at a card? If I wanted to do that, I’d buy packs. I’ll skip it and just buy the cards off the market. Hopefully, that mode either gets overhauled, or doesn’t come back.

Def not going away most people love it but I am with u not a fan but I hope people keep playing so I buy a card I want for cheap

Can confirm its not a difficulty thing I read about GOAT causing the random freeze in between mini boss challenges and stadiums. Get about 5-8 freezes that force me to close the game and relaunch only to be punished more since the new update for closing the game out during a diamond quest run.. please fix..(this is on every difficulty)

If they improved the rewards and the odds just a bit the mode would be a pretty decent alternative to slow grind the game. As it stands now the payoffs are subpar for the time invested. Hopefully they continue to modify it as it has potential.

There is no greater payoff rate than that. You don’t have to play any of the challenges to do this. I wrote an entire thread about how you can use diamond quest to slow grind the game, while still getting BIAH and standard picks regularly.
