Perfect games / no hitters glitched

The ai manager pulls you from the game,
when you're pitching a perfect game despite having more than enough stamina and under 90 pitch count … anyone know how to fix?? -
Same issue. Getting pulled with plenty of stamina and low pitch count. As a 2 way player, I'm being kept in to hit but constantly being pulled out of dominant starts for no reason. Reliever comes in, gives up crazy amounts of runs. What is this?

Yes, but guess what? This reflects the reality of modern baseball. I know, it seems ridiculous, but it's true. The injuries that result from pitching past the point of 80 pitches thrown has been researched and reported to actual MLB teams. Moreover, this is considered especially acute for "young" pitchers who are in their rookie or second seasons.
In short, there is great pressure on managers and pitching coaches to limit pitches thrown in single games. This is also why teams especially in the first month of the season are using six-man rotations.
There is no fix to this. I have little doubt that SDS coders were told to implement this due to the realities of the modern game and better reflect how MLB teams are managing their pitching staffs.
Also, this isn't a modern thing either. Kent Merker started a game against the Dodgers where he was part of a three-pitcher combined no-hitter. The 2022 World Series saw the Astros pitch a combined no-hitter at Philadelphia. And I also recall that Pedro Martinez was taken out of a game where he had a no-hitter late.

I filed a ticket with this issue yesterday. Three games I had less than 80 pitches and either a perfect game or a no hitter and I get pulled. It wouldn’t bother me as much if it didn’t cost me so many points in my XP.
-
OK, I found a fix for it even though it’s a stupid fix cause it’s gonna cost you some XP. Go to your sliders and turn the AI manager pull all the way to the left. I just tried it on two different games. But now my controls are messed up since this patch or whatever they did last night I keep getting switched to veteran All-Star, and it’s not consistent as to which one it is.

This is not a bug. You may not like it, but it is a deliberate coding change to how RTTS works.

There is a far more effective means to "fix" this issue, one that reflects real baseball quite well. You need to boost your player's attribute in the PER/9 and BIG GAME sub-attribute categories. If your current value in these two sub-categories is in the lower sixties or under, then the game code is going to have the manager take you out of the game after the sixth or seventh inning. Why? Because your "demonstrated" skill level at having the Stamina, Pitching Clutch, H/9, HR/9, K/9, and BB/9 indicates a high chance that you collapse when trying to stretch out to pitch the eighth or ninth innings.
When you boost your PER/9 and BIG GAME sub-categories above 70, then the manager will let you remain in the game to earn your complete game, no hitter, or even perfect game. And if you think this doesn't reflect actual real life baseball, then you are mistaken. If the manager blows a game, or has you go on the IL, by letting you pitch that extra inning, then the GM is more likely to fire him in real life.

Both of those numbers are at 84 for me when it happened the first time. Then 86 and that’s where I’m at now..

Fair enough, I can only comment based on my experience. I recall for my avatar player, I had to get into the 70's before being allowed to finish what I started. Now that I have them in the mid seventies I am always finishing games I start.
