Hitting power seems a bit nerfed this year...

So Manny tattoos a perfect perfect to dead center in a short porch custom field with max elevation and the ball is caught routinely IN FRONT of the track....
Wait...what?
Even outside of this glaring example I have had a TON of examples of [censored] hit that should have gone out based on timing and PCI but they all end up routine fly outs even shallow.
I know the cards are low rated and all to start this year for the power creep but darn [sry]! This is nuts!
Did SDS do a sneaky nerf to high altitude custom stadiums to punish stat grinders? Lol

Yes. It's been discussed numerous times on this board. I just replied to a dev to at least be honest and admit they nerfed altitude at custom stadiums.
If they would put out a statement admitting they Intentionally did this, I'd drop the issue.

Admit it? They literally said it on the DD stream that they nerfed altitude and that there would be no more Costco cheese. Max altitude is 3000.

It’s also an adjustment going from maxed out 99’s to the beginning of a power creep.

This is what happens with the power creep. I’m glad we don’t have a bunch of 99’s on day one. You were used to playing with all 99 cards and now we’re using 85-87 cards.

I think it’s a great change. If I was playing HR derby already I’d be bored by May. It’s fun playing a baseball sim rather than an arcade style game.

i loved costco field as it made farming doable for us folk who dont have time to hrind for hours on end with this game. its supposed to be fun not a chore

The grind isnt impossible without Costco. I started using Laughing Mountain and im putting up good numbers. People need to get away from this idea that the game is supposed to cater to them and make everything easy for them. It's not their fault you can't take an hour or two a day for yourself to do something you enjoy.

Update: Costco cheese is alive and well!!!
Tried to test what was said about max elevation being 3k. Re-uploaded my "Costco Cheese Nerf" as a new stadium with 2999 elevation.
First game with the exact same team I struggled to score 10-15 runs per game and hit maybe 5-7 home runs on Rookie...
28 runs, 35 hits, 21 home runs.... wish I knew how to share screenshots on here but they're in my activity feed on my xbox profile.
