Shorter Season Options

It would also be nice to see the return of the option to play a shorter season. For example, maybe a 60 game season or an 80 or 100 game season. I’ve often enjoyed playing through every pitch of 162 games since I’ve enjoyed having to perform well consistently, but it has definitely led me to being burned out at times. Having the option to play a shorter season could change that.

That would defeat the purpose of franchise mode, people do actually play all the games in franchise. Franchise is basically you taking over as your favorite team and either rebuilding them or trying to win the World Series so making the season shorter wouldn't work

That doesn’t mean SDS can’t or shouldn’t at least give people the option of playing a shorter season if they want to. It used to be in the series. -
Yeah and they took it out because people complained because it wasn't like the actual game of baseball

Just because it was in the game didn’t mean people had to play shorter seasons. But it should’ve been kept in the series so that anyone who may want to play a shorter season can.
