I wish they would match us with similar players

Some people are mature adults that play the game the way it’s meant to be played. And some people are extremely toxic. I have to believe that SDS can tell who the toxic players are and who the good players are. Maybe in the future you could match players based on their in game behavior. Let the toxic people bunt dance each other and let the good players have a normal game of baseball. Just a thought.
Just to be clear - I’m not wanting the toxic players banned. Most likely they’re mostly just kids who will mature as they get older. But until then - Let them just play each other.

GTA online does that doesn’t it? What a great idea

I played a 700 rated or so game and it was a tight game I think 6-6 that went into 10 innings. The opponent was constantly dicking around on the bases, bunt dancing, and he replayed one homerun. I picked him off like 3 times and he still was doing weird stuff on the bases. On two or three occasions he would bunt while stealing 3rd with like hank aaron or some other 99 power hitter. I guess that's a strategy? But the guy didn't suck at hitting so i dont know why he was playing like that
I didn't replay anything, I didn't bunt dance at all...I was just going to let him do whatever. I was down 2 in the 9th and tied it 6-6 then in the 10th i crushed a 3 run walkoff with corbin carroll and he actually let it land
So people play like that at all different levels of ranked and I gotta assume its just to be annoying because they have nothing better to do...like maybe to intentionally get under the opponents skin?
I always block these players through the ps app to hope that I never match up with them again and then I report them for toxic play to also hope that they never match me up with these opponents again but I don't think it does anything...I've never noticed if I play repeat opponents or not

Add-on to the bunt dancing-thing: Running around in circles catching balls
I still do not get why I am not allowed to replay a HR (if I manage to hit a big one, which does not happen that often)
-
@YOSHI24_MLBTS People don't like having HRs replayed because it adds additional time to an already long game.
-
I have ZERO problem if someone hits a 500 foot bomb and they want to watch it again…It’s the guys that replay EVERY SINGLE HR that are a bit much.

Exactly … If games are too long, play events. 99% of the time I replay a „great HR“, the next thing people do is either bunt dance after a goood hit or replay on their own all the time they can … (which is funny bc I do not care)
-
Oh, I forgot … the next thing besides dancing and replaying is texting me and calling me weird stuff. people are crazy. I wish I was a better player

@YOSHI24_MLBTS I used to enjoy the banter back and forth but when I got a comms suspension for 2 days for something I said IN A PARTY CHAT, I knew it was time to turn the comms off. I was always careful to not put things in written messages that could get me in trouble but once they started monitoring parties - Well that’s just a little too big brother for me. So now I play with comms off.

@IrishFist412_MLBTS I usually do a quick block or write something nice in german. Most of those people do not even know how to write something correct in their native language. But yeah, comms off is not that bad of an idea. BUT … on the other hand: I met some nice ppl
