I've noticed on some extremely close plays (trying to stretch a single into a double, double into a triple, turn a shorter flyball into a sacfly, or stealing 2nd or 3rd) that I'll either never hear the ump call me out or actually hear the ump call me safe on the play but because the announcers say I was out the play ends, but I get the result on the scorecard/scoreboard and even get the speed boost accordingly while taking the double negative hit to baserunning aggressiveness. Has anyone else noticed this?
