Now I've only been playing for the last 3-4 years or so with this year and last being my deepest dive into the game. As a former collegiate and semi-pro player, I thought that MLB had the best representation of the game of baseball. Mix that with the DD mode, in which I love the ability to mix older and current players together, and the premise is truly something to look forward to. But whatever you guys (and gals) have done ( or not done) to MLB20, you must get it right. There are folks who've played this game many years more than me. It's too early for us to be experiencing gameplay issues that make a mockery out of the game of baseball. We have the right to have expectations that the game will play up to a certain level: Defensive players should be locking on to the ball much better than what they're doing; base running shouldn't be like they're on ice skates. Showdown and MTO shouldn't be scripted: When I'm winning in the 9th, and their lead-off batter hits a routine fly-ball that my outfielder locks on and then "locks off" allowing a double followed by a routine groundball to first where my first baseman does not run to the base but rather flips to the pitcher who isn't covering, you just know you're going to lose. Routine ground ball to the third baseman who tried to bare hand it and totally missed it, again allowing a double. It's hard to stomach this kind of gameplay. Yeah, of course we can go play other games, but this IS Baseball season. And just because there aren't real games on TV, doesn't mean we can have the closest thing to it in a video game.

    To add:

I should not receive a product worse than what I experienced during the beta (which was pretty good). I played the beta a lot and felt the game was in a good place. What I'm playing now is nothing like what I based my purchase decision on and legitimately feel duped.

I want to see all the bug reports submitted in the first 3 DAYS for them to justify changing the game this drastically.

Seriously, I want numbers and names SDS.

Yeah as far as fielding, hitting and definitely pitching.....the alpha played better in every way. "Oh, and they botch it"

Not to be rude, but you may want to break that up into paragraphs. I read the first few lines then skipped to the end.
