Catching up on the S1 TA3 I missed while in the hospital and I'm playing the TA1 Mini Seasons.
Just played a game, against the Cairo Cats, where they brought in LS Emmanuel Clase in the 2nd inning and then closed the game out with the TA version of Clase.
Thought you couldn't have two different versions of the same player on your squad?

You can't. But then some ms teams at beginning of season 1 and again at beginning of season 2 had bosses and the collection guys a few days in, so....

Yeah, early in S1 I played a team that had the 97 overall Lou Brock before he was even released as a collection reward.
