I have been vocal about how bad the 2.1 cycle was in general and I stopped playing for most of it

But I want to give credit for the missions on 2.2
Using the live series cards as henchman is great. Sure, people wont necessarily have all of them but anyone playing since day 1 will have most unless they have sold everything.

Also great is the ease of getting the first boss, which can be doubled up with the live series

I expect by the time I am done with the conquests Ill have 3+ cards from each division without even having to use them

I know this is an effort to get all stars in people's team fast, but please look towards something similar to this as the standard. And to shield off the 'there isnt enough to do' crowd for future seasons you can just add on another 100+ stars of other rewards for a bigger grind that many will elect not to do. It can just be a random choice pack at the end older stuff like alter ego/fresh start 2, or a vault pack. Not going to hurt Sony's profits with that, but give people something to grind for if they want to. This would please a lot of people at once and stave off some burnout.

That’s my only issue is it’s a bunch of useless items and packs minus the bosses in 2.2 in the path

I second the OP. I looked at the new TA program last night and the structure of the missions was a nice surprise. I think the use of live cards as henchmen is a great idea. There are still serious issues with the format of the game this year, but this is a step in the right direction and deserves some positive feedback.

They intentionally burned us out by giving us 4 team affinity programs in two months and incrementally making them harder and more tedious to grind. One of the weirdest decisions I've ever seen in a video game and just an all around awful business decision. They had no choice but to do this because otherwise no one is playing their game anymore during the heart of the MLB season. I am obviously only one person, but I hadn't played season 2 more than maybe an hour or so, and the only way they were getting me back on this game was if I could just hop on and unlock some cards I actually want to use within an hour or so of grinding.

I like how easy it is to unlock these with SP repeatable mission 15ks and other repeatable missions unlocked Soto in only one game and Parades in the next. Only need Houck to complete AL east and only played a couple hours. Thanks SDS
