That was fun

Just played a guy that had three wild cards. P5 Ruth, Chipper, Rollins and Mays. 97 Yasmani. Seriously. I hate playing nolifers that spend 40 hours a day playing this game getting all the best cards. And yes, I’m better off with 99 Ruth than my current live series Matt Olson…so don’t give me that [censored] about cards not meaning anything.

I’ve barely played this season and I’m almost at the first boss pack. You literally just need to finish the programs for the big chunks of xp. It’s not hard.

Ya ok sure

I don't mind no lifers. They keep the game alive and funded. I do mind improper matchmaking and this somewhat serves as an example. If the cards don't matter and it's purely skill based why are sets restricted? If it does matter and not so much skill as it is the cards you have why doesn't it take your overall card rating into consideration when in ranked queue?
I have more of a complaint for those who don't have that no life option and time that when you FINALLY get valuable PxP from grinding your best cards they just get rotated out and now you gotta start over.
The queue should take item score into consideration. -

Yeah, I think we need definitions of "barely played".
Your profile shows over 500 hours. Even if you put in 4 times more hours into season 1 than season 2 that still tallies to 100 hours this season.
That said, I don't really support the OP's original complaint because I am sure there are times when he has fielded a superior team to his opponent. Eventually, unless you are at the very top of the hierarchy you are going to run into someone better or someone who has invested more time.

Naw, I’ve been running all Braves team since season 2 started.

I learned early on in ranked that at sub 600 levels card quality is typically inversely related to opponent quality.
Not sure when that changes. But if I see a 'meta' lineup Im going to assume ill get a bunch of Ks that game

If meta is a part not the discussion the game lacks meta diversity. If you have a squad that dominates there should exist a counter that has blind spots to other squads. It's ok to have a meta if that meta can be manipulated by the playerbase and their creativity.
