Look, I can understand quitting when someone is just pummeling you into Oblivion and you're losing 10 to nothing and you're really just not having any fun. Maybe you want to save your bullpen a little, okay.
But the amount of people that quit on me when I'm beating them by a run or two or it's nothing to nothing game and I hit a ball into the Gap with a runner on base and I'm about to score the first one of the game and they just Rage Quit
That's absolutely ridiculous those people shouldn't even be playing this game. It happens way too often.
Yeah, but you got the win.

@supplication1975_PSN couldn’t agree more I truly don’t get it and for the “you get the win” argument sds took that out of the program this year which makes no sense every win should be at least 3 program stars they needs to be incentive to win for those who won’t make it to World Series

Just had a 1 inning duos slugfest. 3 up 3 down in the top half , hit a lead off bomb and they quit. Seems like every time we score early it incites a quit.

The game doesn't feel good and feels like you get screwed by the pitch and batting analysis system. The games queue quickly and you get the win. There is no penalty for leaving solo queue games so until there is, which there won't be they would lose even more of the player base, the quitting won't end.
Maybe stop being so good at the game and you won't get people to quit....... -

Maybe stop being so good at the game and you won't get people to quit.......I don’t feel like I am very good at the game. I play most of the time and lose , and I take my lumps. The minute I find an opponent that it looks like I can deal with competitively or maybe even for sure win against they quit out. It’s a constant trend. Just had another. Guys got some really stupid stuff going in the first inning scored 3 runs on some defensive blunders that they had no business scoring on. Played a couple more innings and took the lead on a 3 run bomb and they quit immediately. Soon as they lost the lead they quit

Yeah I am sorry. It does suck if that's the only way you're winning. I find it happens much less in casual but I can't condone playing that mode regularly.

@supplication1975_PSN I used to hate those people too. But as I've gotten older, I've been quitting more. Has nothing to do with the opponent. It has to do with the game and how the RNG game is played. I don't have time to sit there and watch all the BS that happens for a lower-level player and get pissed off. Yeah, I know people say it happens in real life. But when you've out hit your opp. in line drives or good contact by double the number and lose by 2-4 runs, you know you were playing against 2 people at that point. I'd rather lose a close one where I know the other guy was hitting well and pitching just good enough to beat me.

I just played a person that posts on here all the time and he quit before a pitch was even thrown. Absolute trash

@supplication1975_PSN with the mercy rule, why quit? Stay in there against tough competition and try to take something away from it. There's a large group that "want" to face a scrub and just stockpile runs or bombs for clickbait if they can get the video or clip.
Play the games people

Would you rather be grieved into the win or the player quit? While I agree with both sides I tend to be more sympathetic to the quitters. If they didn't quit then you would get dashboarded or grieved. So I think you're best bet is to take the win from their quit and re queue.

I got through two event games fully on my way to Polanco. It’s frustrating but I will take the win and get through the wins in 90 min
