I'm still playing 21 and just rolled a March to October team into a franchise. I'm enjoying it a ton but as I started out the first franchise season any time I try to use my sponsorships, it shuts the game off.

I tried googling this but can't find anywhere that this was talked about or solved. Have I messed something up, or accumulated some sort of fatal error? Game works fine in every way except the sponsorship deal. And I realize that you can play without that part but man it seems pretty cool and I'd like it to work.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

They don't provide support for 24 so not likely you'll get a glitch fixed for 21

Oh yeah I knew SDS was a dead end. I was more wondering if there were any guys still playing 21 that had seen this and might have a workaround.

I know relative most things, four years is pretty fast. But, in video games, it really isn't. You are relying on a marketing gimmick that introduced product placement into the game. SDS got paid for this. But, as with all such contracts, there are time limits placed on them for a whole host of reasons.

So, by trying to link up a product placement in your game dated from four years ago, you've likely run up against a contracted time limit and that's why the game code shuts your game down.

Your options of course are to purchase the latest version, or forego the sponsorship. It's a bit like no longer getting roster updates, new uniforms to match the onset of new ones in actual MLB, or even stadiums.

That's a good point, I had not considered it. I'll just play without the sponsorships then. I've not had the itch to buy 24 so it looks like that's the path for me. Thank you for your reply.
