Captains Co-op

So, have captains boosts just been disabled at this point on co-op? It would work more often then not early on this year, but since about the third week the game has been out, it doesn't work. Are they just giving up on it or what? Is there a work around?!?!?! It's extremely frustrating.

Captains just don't work. Co-op is like the red headed step child of DD. This has been an issue since launch
