Sds wtf are you waiting for? Revert the hitting back!

This is the greatest and best game ever made. There are no flaws.
-
What, there's tons of flaws. Stop being disingenuous. There's enough flaws in fact that you dont have to make up tin foil that conspiracy theories.

There isn’t a single flaw in this game.

Do you honestly think the guy that just struck out 20 times and lost is psyched cause one of his 3 hits was a home run on ok contact?
Do you think the guy in Vegas that lost $100,000 to gambling is psyched?
No, but why does he keep coming back for more?
You will never understand until you stop this “SDS can do no wrong” mentality and open your eyes. You can’t believe everything SDS tells you.

I just don't understand why they purposefully make hitting, and by extension the game itself, significantly worse after the first week. They did the exact same thing last year.
I understand balancing DD later in the year to account for all-99 squads (though I don't agree with it), but why change it literally days after the full release? It was so good most people were able to look past the significant problems with pitching and fielding.
Could it be that the game was simply playing too well and they were afraid people wouldn't get frustrated enough with their current cards to purchase stubs/upgrade cards?
Google “player churn rate” or “player retention rate.”
It all comes down to $$$$ my friend.
They need to keep the bad players around.
I'm an bad to average player. I'm trying close to my breaking point. I had fun last year with my barely above 500 record. Not having much fun at all so far this year.

I don’t disregard your input because I agree that it’s not fun anymore. However, why are people still drooling over new cards, RS rewards, and still defending this game in its current state?

I'm not nor am I drooling over anything. I'm not a new and shiny objective type. I get that there are many people who are.
That said, I would be more than happy to put money into this game if I was having fun (even losing). I did so last year and didnt regret it at all. I enjoyed myself. I would have put more into it if I hadn't stopped for madden. This year? Not having fun. My son is satisfied playing offline modes but he is 10. I prefer online modes. I want to spend money but see little reason to do so.
Some can complain about bad or average players but the reality is this game is 90% bad or average. If we do not find enjoyment in what we are playing then we will not be spending on the game this year. I can have fun while still losing but I'm not even having fun while winning.

Definitely not true on hall of fame difficulty. It’s way worse on all-star with the pci size. I’ve said this numerous times, HOF in 20 is the best the game has played since 16.

Bad players arent getting gifted wins, they're striking out 23 times in a 9 inning game. They're not playing events at all. They're about to quit playing altogether if they havent already.
SDS already told you why they patched hitting. Averages were too high and they want numbers to look realistic. Right or wrong, believe them or not, that comes straight from them.
Bad players huh? I make World Series every season bud. Now I’m not saying I’m really good but I’m definitely not bad and most of the games I’ve lost are when I’ve squared up more balls than my opponent getting good/okay contact then losing to cheap weak bloop hits

I never said you were bad. I was talking about the 80% that never get beyond Wild Card at best.
-
Also, if you're in World Series the people you are playing arent bad either. So I can sympathize with the hitting results not always favoring the better player, in your case it's not the rng throwing a bone to a bad player to keep him playing. Which is the whole point I'm getting at.
