Two Ranked Modes - Why not?

Why not have two separate game modes for ranked solo play?
Proposal:
Specifically related to solo ranked queue, have two versions. Call one Limited or Live and the other Wild or Unlimited.
You could perfectly eliminate the wild card position altogether with success by splitting the metas you are limited or not to.
Example:
The Live or Limited mode would be as it sounds in the case for TS 24. Live and/or or not CORE cards ONLY in your deck. No Wild cards necessary which IMO would be way better in general for gameplay bFor the second mode you have Wild or Unlimited.
You don't have to build your deck on live or one set but rather your entire library. To take that further you could or would be able to put a limit on the serieses themselves which I think would be very neat.I cannot figure out why this cannot or does not already exist with sets and seasons. This is what I assume a simple modification to the game interface but I do not develop games. Just avidly play them.

my idea is for a theme team only. Doesnt specifically need to be 'ranked', but probably better for matchmaking
- Give every player all team captains
- Every player must be boosted by captain
- All cards unlocked otherwise
- program progress gets a multiplier based on your team: Yankees and dodgers would get a severe penalty whereas teams like the Rays would get a big boost
- multipliers adjusted for rarity of teams being played too, the goal would be to have every team fairly equally played for good opponent variety

You do realize that not alot of people are even playing ranked right now, it's way less than last year according to multiple streamers
