Castillo / Arenado Boost
-
I have been using the castillo live series boost along with Wildcarding the season 1 cornerstone arenado card as well. The hitting boost these two cards give you is insane. YourFriendKyle has a video debuting this type of team so you can see the damage you can do with it.
It’s almost disappointing to have a boost this good because it makes every TA card or any of the new program cards basically useless. Some of the live series cards play up to a 95 with the boosts and so I just don’t see a point at grinding any of the TA programs right now if there’s no point for me to use the cards.
Anyone else tried this boost or feel the same way?

Well the TA cards are really just for collections imo. Couple cards here and there might be decent but other then that its s2 collection fodder

I don't have wildcard slots nor care to grind for them. I'll just let them come naturally. So no, I haven't tried this combo but I've heard it's good. I personally don't like Arenado in The Show. I hate his swing and he doesn't field well for me. I recently swapped him out for Maddux again cause I wanted to test another captain combo.
It is a very effective combo but I don't think it's game breaking like Santana was. -
the live series switch combo has me 3-0 in ranked. kinda gnarly

You should check out the Devers/Prior boost

Was using the Devshaw 33 until last night tried the Buxstillo 33 and like cause has more speed. Can use S2 Tatis jr Acuna jr and Trout Judge Harper Henderson all double boosted. Just think of what could have been if Buxton had not been nerfed. Judge and Trout probably 99 98. My Architecture incomplete SDS let me build

@MrNintendo_MLBTS understand nerfing Switch hitters because not giving up anything like Kershaw all lefties and some can struggle against lefty pitching. But to nerf Buxton. You are giving up vision
-
@MrNintendo_MLBTS maybe an online reduction to captain boosts if folks complaining but don’t punish the single player gamers

@pvtkrispy_XBL the Devshaw boost takes the new 89s way up and Schneemann card gets double boosted believe 95 so helped get that Castellanos card with 5hr 15 hits challenge. Casas becomes an 98 and Walsh 97 also Collins a 95. Just don’t understand why Arenado left alone and Buxton lowered
