@Teak2112_MLBTS I’ve found it to be more friendly for matchmaking at certain times of the day. Obviously the free time you have in your life impacts the hours you can play, but I generally avoid all online modes between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.

Maybe it’s all in my head? But I do it anyway.

This post was admittedly (and obvious) some overreactive venting.

I played a mini seasons game as a palette cleanser, jumped back in to BR because I only needed 2/3 of an inning to get a diamond (McNeil, obviously), and won a 4-2 game where the opponent had the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the third.

Honestly I think removing the stub cost would solve a lot of the problems. That way I feel less penalized for quitting if Im facing a flawless or world series person and things arent going well early.

I draft good silver pitchers . Just mix pitches get them to ground out or pop up . They're going to score a ton of runs anyway . Don't get frustrated keep fresh arms in the bullpen .
If you quit you limit xp towards rewards. But it's up to you I know it sux to get clobbered.

That’s just how this game is this year unfortunately. Completely geared towards offense. I get that hitting is more fun than pitching for most players and the majority is where the money is, but jeez, can’t get anybody out on All Star difficulty. Some of us want to play baseball, not Slo pitch softball

Thats the issue. I believe I need to pitch 3 innings, or have all 9 players bat, before I lose the pxp I've earned.

And PxP is everything since I need 22.5k total, not to mention the individual milestones (which go fast enough now thankfully)

Most games I give up 4 runs or less. But some people just hit everything.

When I encounter goons I start throwing nothing but sinkers up and over the plate. You can’t paint and get those a dudes out they have seen that approach so much they lay off everything that’s not a strike and they square up everything else. All you can hope for is weaker contact from them jumping out their shoes and slamming the pci

I avoid events and BR for that reason. Leave all the guys hitting .525 with 20k homeruns to play each other.

But when you face someone who you cant get out its miserable.

Given the nature of BR, in that us "lesser than goons" have to work the Program to get PxP's, I NEVER quit a game.

In Season 1, I had a program pitcher where I needed a full inning to get my PxPs and I'd have my 4 points. It was the top of the 3rd, I was way behind, and I brought my Program pitcher in (who was already tired). And... he got rocked. I think he scored 6-7 runs before I got an out. He messaged me - "dude, just quit". I said "this pitcher is going until his arm falls off. I need the points". He put up another 5-6 runs, then finally ran himself into outs.

It's my 1,500 stubs. You want to put up a bunch of runs and waste your time? Have at it. I'm getting my PxPs.
    I'm semi-retired. I have the time 😂
