Anyone else tired of the home run derby that is DD?

DD has been extremely frustrating for pitchers this year. Seems like everyone I face has averages in the .400s and ERAs in the 8.00s. Doesn’t seem to matter what pitcher you select as the fastball is useless and everyone throws the sinker anyway. It’s been almost impossible to escape All Star difficulty, every game is 10-8. I don’t know, maybe I’m just salty because I survive on pitching and the overpowered offense has me getting my brains bashed in every game, but has anyone else been frustrated by the complete irrelevancy of pitching and defense?

I think foul balls have a lot to do with it . I don't care how good of a hitter a player is , if I throw a ball in the dirt 9 out of 10 it should be a miss.

@MarinerMatt01_PSN I haven’t played any online mode as much as I used to this year due to this. Haven’t played events since maybe March? I skipped the last BR program and haven’t touched this one yet. I don’t play Solo Ranked until all of the missions drop. I love Co-op but at least 1 of every 4 games ends in a freeze.
It’s the foul balls really. All of those extra chance pitched that inevitably lead to a grooved fastball or hung slider have killed pitching this year, but I’m staying optimistic that whatever patch is coming will actually fix the issue.
