Negro League cards and their boost

I’m a little confused as to what SDS is doing with the Negro League Cards. Why boost all the cards now? Why not boost them on Day One of Season 2. There would be more excitement with using these cards since they’re core collections annd season two is right around the corner. Also, the Rube foster boost needs to be able to boost all players that played in the negro league. Including the Sanford Grreen collection, the Jin Kim collection, the barrier breakers collection and all random diamond dynasty cards that had former negro league players including season one drop monte Irvin and Ernie Banks, and all future drops. Most of the cards that have been released thus far are mediocre without the boost and will never seem a “God Squad” if the Negro League cards don’t get a massive everyday attribute boost.

If they did that nobody would buy and grind for the elite 99 cards that are coming. Every Negro League player in the HOF should get a HOF card like Mays. There is likely going to be other NL Captains.

@fellspointguy_MLBTS I agree with you. There will be 99 coming. However, the current collection isn’t viable without both boost; foster and supercharged. I think players would use the cards if the rube foster boost was better or the they boost all the card’s attributes to a 90 diamond. Otherwise, these core cards will sit on a back burner at the start of every new season.

They want you to grind and buy packs for LS diamonds and those special cards. Boosting the available CORE cards day one would defeat that purpose.

They kinda bricked with the NGL cards IMO because there's no real reason to use them. They're Novelty cards. If you're just playing a game to play, then yeah they're fine, but most people are grinding TA while they're playing whatever mode it is that they're playing and unfortunately the NGL don't fit anywhere to help with that. Kinda feel like they need there own separate "TA-Like" program to incentivize using them in lineups. Even if it's just a card or two.

I did the same thing yesterday in Legends and Live mini seasons. It’s a fun squad
