Gehrig 2 extra base hit moment

Is anyone else having trouble getting 2 XBH with him? I can get 1 fine but can't get the other and when I thought that I did get one down the 1st base line it only counts as a single. Can someone help

Use directional and press up with a power swing.

I was going to post about it. -
I was using directional the whole time with the moment and even tried power swing, ended up with a homerun in the 1st at bat then got lucky and got another at bat in the 10th and got another homerun. I've always hated the 2 XBH moments because they don't always count the hits down the line or in the gap as doubles it always counts as singles

Feels like I'm using the unboosted 90. My guy is hitting with Rod Carew levels of power.
edit: of course, just after I post this, I hit two perfect/perfect home runs.
Anyway, it is an annoying challenge. I don't mind these with power hitters or speedy guys, but this one is rough because Gehrig isn't fast, and there's always someone slow on base in front of you, so you can't really try to leg it out to 2nd if you didn't hit a gap shot. -
what you have to do on those is get one out of the way on your first plate appearance , if you dont get it , restart the moment and continue until you do , then you have the rest of the game to get only one , and it also fakes the CPU out , the more moment attempts the CPU loosens its grip on it and allows the player to start hitting better
