I constantly [censored] .. I get it… but is anyone seeing a change in gameplay during the late innings of a close game or am I nuts ? Specifically talking about online.
Just finished a game where I lost in the 9th but something I noticed was it suddenly became extremely hard to pitch. Even with nobody on bag I couldn’t get pitches to go where I wanted them. I was walked off after a couple bloop hits. Played a solid player though but still. Dink hits up the middle. Then a homerun that looked like a sky high pop on an inside pitch that was extremely tough to throw in the first place because pinpoint suddenly became hyper fast and unable to use. Pointers or opinions and even criticism would be appreciated

How was your pitcher's energy and confidence? Especially his confidence in the specific pitches you were using? I find that it's more difficult to place pitches when the pitcher's energy and/or confidence is low. I keep an eye on the confidence level for each pitch and try to keep it high. If a pitcher's energy is too low and I'm having difficulty placing pitches with him, I put in a reliever.

It's DDA my friend, and every single sports game/comp game has it, because video games are the highest grossing forms of entertainment, and it's not even close.

I've noticed if you play someone under you, they start off super hot. Where it feels like every pitch is around the middle or way off the plate. And you'll have to grind it out in the middle innings to come back. Or if they're down by 4-5 runs late, they'll start getting some bloops and blasts to bring it closer. Just my 2 cents.
