International signing day

Franchise needs international signing day players so it can be more realistic that’s how Ronald Acuña Jr. started out and now a great player

I agree that would be really cool but I personally have a laundry list of things I would rather have in franchise prior to that. Franchise needs a full face lift and unless they have been working on it the last few years, it’s likely that things like this are a long way away or may never happen.
They say it is too much work to rewrite the code that Franchise is currently on and things like this would essentially force them to completely re-do everything in franchise. But they need to do that anyways so they can add awesome new features like you have mentioned here.

Franchise is a mode where focusing on the offseason would be most important. The offseason in franchise has been about the same for years. Recently we got to see a complete rework of the offseason in “March to October”… but during the stream they mentioned it wasn’t in franchise due to the complexity of reworking the Franchise code.
I would love to see so much added to so many different areas to include the draft (international included), offseason, contracts, trades, budgets and even some more fun and complex ways of building a team.
For example, imagine being able to pick your core group of players or a core player you want to build around? There are so many possibilities to work from that and it would be at the core of franchise. It would bring life and more fun outlook to this game mode. I bet if they re-worked it, they could get a lot more people playing franchise and could even make a lot of money with micro transactions even in offline modes.
I am at the point now where I wouldn’t care if they added micro transactions to Franchise if it meant that the mode would get a completely new look.

While it may be interesting, the reality is "international" players are already lumped in with the single draft. This is proven by the scouting setup, which includes international scouting assignments and you will see those players so scouted in the draft.
Frankly, I like Franchise where it is at. I regard it as the most pure baseball game play mode available in MLB The Show and I don't want it cluttered up with the sort of stuff that got put into RTTS with the equipment related perks.
Franchise gives you maximum personal control over the league that you set up. Don't like how a player is performing, you can go in and manually adjust as you desire -- up or down as you like. So, you get maximum control over the players as well.

Dumbest suggestion ever. Microtransactions kill innovation. You are exactly what they’ve been trying to mold their (game publishers) customer base into.
