Would love to see something like a 95 Aroldis Chapman core if you max out Season 1 at 400 cards.

Doesn’t make any sense for it to be a season 1 card…

I'm about ten away from 400 and I believe all you get is an icon.

There is a Season 1 Collection update in the calendar for Friday so we should be getting one more card. If they really want anyone to care I think it should be on par with Pedro and Palmeiro live series core collection cards.

I agree as does everyone else in the community. let's grind and make the reward unusable, crazy. I have a theory they that they regret making them s1. or that it was a miscommunication or something. that's how unbelievable it is to me.

They definitely don’t want us going into the new season with 99s besides Ruth. However, it needs to be competitive and Core to make any sense…that way people may keep going after it even once Season 1 expires.

@lckdb that would make sense to me. the collections this year are wonky and I'm just hoping there's some cohesion in the end.

The issue is it will be a handful of players getting the 400 tier card. Granted it may be the only handful left playing. That said, someone else did the breakdown of how insane it is at how few no sell cards are available to really help collections. Unless you play BR Or play the market To make stubs and buy packs or players it is extremely difficult to get to 400. At least last year you could play and collect the no sell Cards and get at least one pack. This year I'll have everything done and won't be close. I'm not complaining, I'm a casual and understand that this game is really for the grinders only at this point. Just pointing out that with some slate modifications you could keep some casuals around.

I think they are going to re-do the reward requirements a little, so that more players can get at least 1 reward. I also think they will add a higher reward at 325 or so cards to reward those who have already finished the first 3.

It should absolutely be a 99 and core. Otherwise, I’m gonna sell the cards I don’t have locked in. What’s the point this late if it’s not core?

They're gonna have to do something for S2 because if you look at the overall Season calendar in the DD home menu, S2 is shorter than S1 by almost a month I believe. Had S1 ended last week I wouldn't even be close to any of the S1 collections...

It wouldn't but this is 2024 SDS so it will be a season 1 card

Yeah it’s really sad this year. I’ll keep playing but I’ve given up on the idea of collecting this year. I just don’t have the bandwidth to play that many hours just to have the cards rendered useless.

I wish we could see how many player drop off after season 2 starts, I’m sure it will be substantial
