I feel like there is very little in the game this year that is "for casuals".

    Check put my 'Math' post.

Skill based match ups would be amazing but I don't know if they are allowed or capable of making such a change. I would rather play someone equal/slightly better/slightly worse than someone way better as my skills are what they are going to be and I will not get any better no matter how much those players destroy me.

I don't have an issue with goons playing the likes of me. It's about the only mode they can get some easy, non-sweaty wins. I'm cool with them getting their flowers but in the past those players were usually gone relatively early leaving the rest of us. I would usually be able to get 4-7 wins in an event run but now I'm sweating my nuts off for 1 win 9 days after a new event starts lol

The mode only awards anything if you win which is anti casual. I played 5 games to get 2 doubles for Yelich and that's the last I'll play it unless its revamped. It's a shame because I like the idea of the line up restrictions.

Events and BR are a safe space for the good to great players to get easy rewards being lumped into a game mode with the below average to average player base on allstar. Simple as that.

yea it's been tense. also, the gameplay has been weird last few days. like idk, just not sharp or something. slow. I'll usually win one or two in events but rarely the first.

the only online mode for casual players is unranked or whatever they call it. The one that does not count when it comes to records.

SBMM would be the worst thing for this game.

In general, I'm not getting this. I've definitely faced less "people who clearly have no idea what game they're even playing" - in years past it's been 1-2 a card. But in general I'm still routinely getting to 7 wins, with the occasional chance at 10. I just have to actually focus most of time.

There are some crazy people though, who literally hit every single pitch perfectly on All-Star. Some people are in a different tier; nothing we can do about it.

@LIONED-33 if they took out the BR rewards path and jacked the rewards for Flawless run, guarantee you the Events would be playable again.

They made BR so casual friendly that they’re not as motivated to goon it out there.

Except BR really isn't casual friendly. It's good player friendly, and bad players need to slog through to 25k which sucks. The only true casual online mode is ranked.
