Why is every Ranked Season game 11-10 now?

What happened?
Every game I have played this weekend has been a high scoring slugfest. I haven’t been able to get the ball past anyone and strikeouts have disappeared. Even balls a foot out of the zone are getting tattooed. Was there a change on the hitting engine? Are hitting cards just ahead of the pitching right now? Everyone has averages in the .380s and ERAs in the 7.00s. Anyone else getting rocked, or is it just me?

@MarinerMatt01 I haven’t touched solo ranked since the reset, but I’ve played Co-op a bit, and it hasn’t been offensive shootouts, unless we’re at max elevation.

played 5 games on Saturday...took about 50 minutes went 5-0, the first run i scored they quit.

Played 2 Ranked games yesterday with 1 of them on HoF. Thought gameplay was fine with the same momentum issue as has been there all year which needs to be addressed. Most innings were 0s but then inevitably each team drops 3+ runs in an inning when you can’t buy an out (in one my games I dropped 8). It’s not a pitching issue it’s a coding issue imo that causes all the runs we’re seeing.

Foul balls are giving players a lot of do overs, exit velocity is better this year and like you said hitting is ahead of the pitching right now, add shield woods in there too, which seem to be where everybody wants to play now.
My ERA is still like 2.9 and WHIP 0.99. I expect it to get higher when I start facing bettee competition.
