Lol Freeman Card
-
I'm not saying that they did Freeman dirty or not as I have not looked at the card yet but I do know that different attributes are weighted differently based on primary position so comparing it to catchers or third basemen is not apples to apples comparisons.
-
I was just happy to see the gold/yellow high diamond animation. Now let me see it more!
-
@Dolenz64 I agree and think you're right. I would argue then that ShowZone is wrong or The Show attribute system is way wrong. I'm not the one making the comparison or saying which card is the best. I rely on better players, high rating streamers, trusted resources (SZ), and personal experience to dictate the best cards. So far streamers, ShowZone, and my personal experience has shown me what those cards are and look like. If you want to win you run the meta.
We got a free no sell card that will never be meta. -
Ok Shauwn

@Easy_Duhz_It_ reminds me of a Bill Burr skit about abusive women saying “but I’m passionate!”

I mean.. showzone had finest Robbie Ray as their highest rated pitcher a couple years ago so take with that what you will lol this is a nothing burger

@TheCanuckler309 and that's fair! I started using their site last year when I was trying to pick the best squads. They are not always accurate but I still find it hilarious that even by just raw attributes the 99 free first basemen that IRL is one of the best players in the league historically and not even on top 25 list of best players for that position by a site that literally only focuses on attributes and milking the best stats.
I also hate free cards. It just devalues the card since everyone can get it by clicking a button.
I'm all for free stuff to earn but I also believe if you pay full price for a game and half of the cards are best achieved by spending more money I get a bit irritated. "But you don't HAVE to buy them!! Huuuurrr dduuuurrrr!" True! I also don't live with my parents like most of the playerbase. So getting the rewards is only good for me when there is double XP involved. But I'm rambling. So whatever

It's free man !

TL:DR
I would rather have free stubs than a free card from here on out. That's said, Freeman is a fine free card for casual players.Have to admit I am still using this card.
Swing is nice.
And I satisfied with the free card? Yeah I think so. Not game changing but it's working so far.
I feel like there are much better first basemen still but I'll get one eventually.
If you grind this card will get replaced but I can't really "grind" so to speak but rather play......
I think I would rather have free stubs instead of a free card. -
I hit great with the Freeman card
-
@cjhanz84 I really don't hit bad. Not great but not bad. I still think I need a better fielder for first base cause I think he's made too many errors in my games compared to the previous first basemen I've had. But his swing is fine

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X Interesting. You know when I complain about my body hurting or an illness my doctor usually asks "interesting just curious, why don't you just kill yourself?"
If you were doing something to continuously cause your body pain or illness, your doctor would tell you to stop doing it.
You constantly [censored] and moan about everything about this game and then still continuing to play the game.
I'm pretty sure your therapist would tell you to stop doing something that's obviously causing you mental frustration.

@allday9128 You must not have been gaming for much of your life.
