Little to no XP being gained

I just played a 9 inning RS and got 3 XP. I didn't get capped XP message. How are we ever going to get further in the XP reward path if things like this keep happening?

3 for 9 innings? lol. I feel like it should at least be a full XP/inning.

Somethings wrong. I get more XP than that pitching a 1,2,3 inning against the CPU on Rookie.

I've played 4 vs CPU 9-inning games today and I've earned 7,194 XP. That includes all the reward and gameplay XP. They've definitely cut down on the amount of XP earned in a game this year.
