To me player programs is an element that has been missing since the 2020 game. While not super involved they added something small to do with the reward cards earned

To me any program big reward card so for example Yelich should have a small player program to complete. And in the case of this year's game the reward of say 2000 to 4000xp would be huge.

    The program could be easy

    Earn 1000pxp with Yelich
    SP stat mission
    Online stat mission
Extreme moment - hit for the cycle

Add in a few standard packs maybe a 500 stub reward.

Just that alone would have given us 6 more programs to grind it seems so simple of a thing to do and the missed opportunities this content team contuines to bumble

Still wish they would do more with EVO programs. Not just like 4 cards, but a huge series. Make them Core so they're something that can be accomplished throughout the games life cycle.

I honestly like 2021. i like the collection rewards. you can literally earn everything. you didnt have to spend a dime, the more you played the more rewards. now its you can still earn, but its more about the more you pay.

This will only really matter if the collection rewards require more than the free-to-earn cards.

Given this year's direction, they probably will. But they could go a long way towards repairing community sentiment by making collections achievable for NMS players with outside lives.

They had player programs and evolution programs in '21. One of the biggest things I miss. I am afraid if they brought them back it just wouldn't work in the design they have gone to. Those programs were one of the key elements that caused me to enjoy DD.

@SuntLacrimae50 Except 21-22-23 (don't remeber 20 enough), you couldn't achieve collections with NMS AND an outside live. You had to either miss time with your family or call in sick; or play the Wall Street Kid NES game with flipping on the market. Remember the blood diamonds? After the initial trickle, it never stopped.

You're probably right...I don't think I was active in DD in 21, maybe at the end? I don't recall anything about "blood diamonds," but [censored], that's a hilarious description. Whoever is responsible for it is witty as hell.

Let's face it, the best EVO program would be Bonds. From skinny 5-tool player to 2-tool hulking roid monster. The early version of him would still be viable, like a Lofton with more pop. The end boss would basically be the Ruth card with no speed, fielding, or pitching.
