SDS - Fix Foul Balls or your game is DOOMED

@SuntLacrimae50 Trust me, on my off days, I'm grateful for the foul balls, but overall I'd like my input to matter more. As you get into the 600's of ranked its like banging your head against the wall trying to get outs.
-
This is one gripe I 100% agree with. I played a 3 inning event game won 8-6 yesterday. Dude had 54 fouls balls to my 13….wtf in 3 innings
-
Just happened again in an event game I played. We each had at bats that went 10+ pitches.
I've had Dibble and other relief pitchers go to red energy OFF ON BATTER. Then you're doomed and out of energy for the next two batters.

I don't know what the answer is for the correct balance between pitching and hitting on HoF and Legend, but I think its fine to have some of the bail out foul balls that happen on All Star with 2 strikes, however:
more of them should be tips for strike 3
more of them should be pop outs
and, more importantly, there are too many 'good' timing foul balls and most of those should be in play -
I’m beating a dead horse here but I really believe that if SDS removed the outer PCI, there wouldn’t be so many incessant foul offs

@doobiebross66-72 Something needs to change, its only going to get worse as the casual players slowly die off the game and a higher % of the player pool are the good hitters who can foul off pitches all day long.
Wasn't as noticeable season 1 of ranked seasons because I started from spring training. Now that I'm up in Wild Card 600's to start, its brutal from the first game of the season.

Agree with the foul offs being more noticeable and frustrating on HOF and above
You would think that on those difficulties that it wouldn’t be as prevalent but it is.
On The Show subreddit, someone mentioned that their opponent had 63 foul offs in a HOF ranked game. That’s insane and inexcusable
The players that reach HOF/Legend in Ranked are good enough that they don’t need to be bailed out by unrealistic foul offs. But since it happens so much, it’s such a frustrating experience
I’ve enjoyed the game overall and I love baseball so I’ll keep playing through it. But if they resolved foul tips/balls and made pitching a touch more accurate, this game would be outstanding

@doobiebross66-72 yep, make it like pre-20; vision and contact combined to determine the size of a single PCI. The idea was good, the execution, not.

100%
Would love for SDS to explain what the hell an outer PCI represents/does

There's almost no point to playing online with the current state of foul balls. It's more RNG than ever.
If I swing "very early" on a ball a foot off the plate, I should strike out. Add in the off PCI comeback homeruns and what's the point of playing online. Against any half decent opponent, pitching is 90% a roulette spin right now.
Simply not fun!
How 'bout NO!
Foul balls are part of the game. Live with it.

@Jacky-Chan1
The average foul balls combined in the average mlb game is 46. I’ve seen 46 plus for one player, I’ve also seen 100 combined, that’s not baseball, that’s a broken game. -
I've never seen 46. I think you're lying.

I thought the same thing but a quick Google result says it's true

For a game that is supposed to simulate baseball, it doesn't do a very good job of simulating baseball. When you're "very early" on a low and outside pitch, you "reached" for a "pitchers pitch" and should hit a weak grounder to one of the infielders. Instead, this game allows you to foul off pitch after pitch after pitch. Chance after chance after chance.
It's incredibly frustrating to have to make 8+ pitches an at bat when your opponent should have been out on the first one (and the second, and the third, ...).
