Conquest vs Mini Seasons

Is playing on veteran difficulty in conquest the same as mini seasons?

I would doubt it. In mini-seasons, you're playing better cards than the LS cards in conquest.

Theoretically they’re the same difficulty but they won’t play like it since in most mini seasons, at least 7 of the 8 CPU teams will be significantly better teams than conquest teams. Sometimes the Kaiju suck though.

OK I was just wondering if it was the same because I've been playing on veteran difficulty in conquest lately and have been getting better so I figured I would try in mini seasons next, just trying to get TA done

The TA one the teams are less stacked than the classics, the only 2 that are really tough are Ryan and Pedro,those are the only ones I've run into in ta that are " groan,not this guy".

Although I personally don't do it, the other factor with mini seasons you can play in clown ball parks for your home games, and Lichtenstein and Korea as well.
For me, conquest is one and done. Mini Seasons will be slightly slower grinding but better rewards, and what I do 99% of the time (the 1% would be if I want to focus a specific pitcher)
Best grinding would be vs CPU though.

You can get tons of packs from the repeatable missions in both mini seasons

That's what I decided to work on with mini seasons just to get the packs and vouchers
