Arenado or Buxton boost?

Buxton's gonna be irrelevant in a few weeks...As OVR's go up, Vision will to. Speed will be non-contributing factor to OVR ratings. That being said, I agree with Boston - I prefer to sacrifice Vision over speed at the moment. Speed wont matter though if Arenado's boosting Taters over the wall.

I'm an offline-only player. Play on Rookie or Vet. CPU controls base running because I'm not coordinated enough to push buttons and hit triggers at the same time. So, judge me as you will.
For whatever my opinion is worth, I've tried both and I love Arenado. Sanchez, Crawford, Turner, and Grandal are a blast with him.

I think he's referring to the current Cornerston Captains being S1 cards. There will be 4 different CCs for Season 2.

I like Buxton because he boosts 15 power vs. both. So you can always hit bombs.

Depends on how good of a player you are honestly. Buxton if you’re 699 or lower - Arenado if you’re 700 & up. Unless you’re an elite hitter then just use Buxton every level.

It doesn't matter if you're playing vs. CPU. Since I'm not good online, I'd prefer contact over power, so if I had to choose it would be Arenado. But I never want to be that slow (since I am in real life, lol).
But I played a few online recently and didn't have a captain boost -- just picked the cards I liked/wanted to try out. Newsflash: Dunn still hits nukes, even without the Buxton Boost, and Mondesi is stealth-buffed like he's always been...

@energystar157 Not judging you at all - Play however you want…That being said if you’re playing on rookie & veteran then it really doesn’t matter who you use. You could roll out there with a team made up of all common cards & still put up 40 runs.
-
Buxton up to all star and Arenado on legend and above
-
Hitting interface also matters... if you use either directional or timing, you need that vision stat; using zone, you're placing the PCI yourself so your skill in doing so can negate that terrible vision rating, but when relying on attributes for placement, you're going to have a hard time climbing above .250 using Buxton-eligible cards.

Well, I can't, but point taken.
