Power or contact swing?

Which do you play with? I've struggled lately and feel like everyone is hitting hard every swing. Even hrs well out of the zone against me.
-
Everyone who makes ws uses normal swing. There's zero need to use power swing unless you're playing on rookie.

@Shauwn the other day I was playing decent and now it's like I can't hit and I'm throwing balls all over and they get smashed no matter where I throw It in BR.
-
@Pergo that's what I meant normal swing

BR is kinda bad for most pitchers. Their numbers are low and good hitters will hit them. This is why I have a mixture of diamond and gold relievers with a balanced batting lineup. U need fairly good pitching to win in BR against those that can hit.

Oh yeah stick with that then in my opinion. I don't think power swing is necessary.

Power swing for cpu on rookie if you're trying to hit it 500 ft.
Contact swing if you have 2 strikes on you in a tense 1-1 competitive game.

@Shauwn last year you only had to have silver relievers this year sounds like need better

If I've got a high Contact guy w/ mid 40-50 power, i'll usually try to contact swing with them. I've got it in my head that that is just enough power to make a normal swing on a well connected pitch to just lead to a line drive right to an outfielder. Contact at least gives me a shot at a sharp liner that might land in no mans land for a base hit. Or if I'm just trying to make sure to put a ball in play to score a guy from third or move him over. Other than that, normal all the way

Theoretically, if your contact is 100 and your power is like 30, then why not min-max and use contact swing to swell the PCI even more? Makes sense to me. I used to do that with -- moment of silence -- Kenny Lofton a few years ago. Worked.
