Franchise hitting seemed less powered than DD this year

I Started my franchise and the hitting seems to be less powered than DD. A ball I easily crush for a HR in DD is a fly out in franchise. It seems like this way for any difficulty in franchise all star and higher.
You just don't get that power 'umph' in the swing in franchise like you do in DD.
Anyone feel this way too?
