This is my last MLB game. I'm done.

OK, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.
Shame on me.
Every, and I mean EVERY RTTS career I end up on losing teams. This has gotten ridiculous.
My current career (my last, because I'm uninstalling from my PS5) I went six years on the Rockies, every year in the bottom of the division. Then I sign with the Dodgers and the opposing teams are hitting GS HR's left, right and center and the AI uses its worst pitcher in a closing situation (ahead by a run in the 9th) instead of the rated 93 CP.
Did the devs not get the memo- that if you LOSE ALL THE TIME it ceases to be fun?
Waste of money and time.

Go to sliders and turn the trades slider all the way down, I haven't played rtts since 2017 but that was the solution then.
-
i just end up selecting my home Team, the Giants, and I get drafted everytime. Maybe when they ask what team you'd like to be drafted by pick a good one.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, it's just become a massive waste of time and this game was expensive, too. It's clearly not linked to your performance because the last three years I was MVP, silver sluggers each year and won the batting title once. It's [censored]. The AI decisions- like the team beating you 10 to 1 bunts? In Baseball, that's an insult. Fudge it. Got more important things to do.

@VisitingTrack71 So, what you are saying is that you created an account to a community forum just to say that it will be your last game that you buy? Why create the account? Why do you feel like you have to broadcast to everyone on a forum you were never a part of before, to announce you are not going to buy this game in the future? This is not an airport, departure notices are not necessary.

I've only been drafted by the team I wanted to play for, every time I've done RTTS. It's really not hard to do. I've also never been traded.
-
I've personally never had an issue in all the years I've played RTTS. I could get drafted anywhere from Dodgers, Nats, Rox, Angels, or Pirates and would change the dynamic of my squad. It sucks that you're not having the same result cause I know it would get annoying.

Guy like me would simply be more gritty for my team, sounds to me like you're not a team player your club house can get behind, you always are on losing teams... maybe you're the reason....
-
Dang. Sounds to me like you're seriously unlucky.
I honestly don't know how the CPU chooses how a team will do, but it can vary to both extremes. For instance: I've got two players who got drafted by the Cubs. The first player is stuck on a Cubs team that is dead last in the NL Central every year. The second finished their rookie season by helping the Cubs win the Pennant. (The Cubs would go on to win the Worlds Series, but my player was optioned back to Triple-A before the series began.) So...yeah. Total luck of the draw. Hope yours improves.
