You have a huge player base of working class people that have families and don’t have everyday to play.

Not only that, you give a program with a measly 4,000xp of rewards.

Every program completed, every conquest, every showdown. Each miniseason. And just now getting to ~lvl20. That’s with playing the few days early. And then weekends since. I get to play Saturday and Sunday and sometimes Monday. Each of those days I get capped. I could easily cap everyday if I had the time to play.

    15k x 7 days= 105,000 total xp for the week.

    Right now: 3-4 hrs to hit xp cap. 4hr x 7 days= 28hrs/week

    Proposal of Weekly Cap
    —————————————-
105,000xp Cap. Reset every Monday 12am pst, 3am est.

The one argument I hear on this is this
“I play 5-10 hrs everyday. I’ll hit cap in 2-3 days”
-ok, if it takes you 4 hrs to hit a 15k cap and you play 8hrs a day everyday. Then that means you play 56 hrs a week. In which 28 of those were used to hit cap. Either way daily or weekly cap, the rest of those 28 hours would be hours you don’t get in game xp anyways.

Weekly xp cap only makes it fair for everyone to get through the reward path together.

There’s already people that have finished the reward path because they have the time to grind mini seasons, over and over and over. Us that work, and ultimately have the money to buy stubs will fall behind and realize oh well I guess there’s no reason playing next season because it’s a waste of the free time I do have to not even get close to finishing the reward path.

Only the trolls would have a problem with going to weekly cap. So any negative responses will just be ignored anyways. You can’t email SDS. They want you to put feedback in the forums. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I doubt they are going to change it because us working class is only 5% of the community. The mom’s basement class is winning this one.

    I would propose something similar:
    Monday reset
Cap the following day increases by 15k - year earned amount

That way the people that burn through 75k in two days dont have a 5 day span of no xp, but still has a weekly concept

Only issue is it penalizes the people who work weekends but off Monday. Maybe allow people to set their reset day? Tougher to code I guess

The xp cap isn’t working someone already has the 99 jimmy Rollins and I agree the game is not fair for those who can’t play every second of the day especially if there doing stuff along with work or school

The xp cap should be removed, period. If you disagree, then you're also part of the problem. It's dumb. At this rate, no one will be enjoying the 99's at all when ppl finally reach 1 mil. I'm at 385k and likely won't reach 1 mil for another 3 weeks at least. By that point SDS would likely have chased 50% of the community away...

If they wont remove cap then give us the same amount of xp as last years game. This way I can play 4 or 5 games hitting the cap and on to the next day.

The reason someone has that Rollins is they ( prolly ) used the mini seasons way to get XP then they nerfed it hard hurting the people who were NOT abusing it. Now what blows my mind is if you put a mode ( with a hole in it that bypasses the XP cap ) and think someone is not going to abuse ( use ) it then SDS your dumber then I ever thought.

We've been through this before. The missions were NOT intended to be repeatable, as they did not indicate they were repeatable. The people who abused it smartly kept silent so not many realized it was bugged, but it was without any doubt a bug

Calling this a nerf is the exact same thing as saying Babe Ruth and Josh Donaldson were nerfed because they can no longer pitch at full stamina every game.

They just need to hurry up and start releasing content so we can see their plans for the full season. if 50% of us are into the boss cards by the team TA part 3 rolls around then the whole thing is being overblown to an absurd degree. If people are struggling to finish the track by season end that were doing it easily last year, thats a huge problem. Personally I've only hit cap once although I play a fair bit every day, and I feel like I'm behind pace in comparison to where I was last year at a relative spot in the program.. But we know they have double xp/double cap weekends coming (I would assume the TA2 release), and hopefully will release some proper programs with a proper amount of xp. I would be lying if I said I have faith hat the balance will be there by the end of the season, its also extremely unlikely they arent monitoring people's progress and will adjust accordingly-just not to the degree that people may be demanding.

And lets be real: to those saying its unfair that people that play more get Rollins sooner...those people already had an advantage of extra practice, which probably is more important than the card. Good chance you arent facing these people anyway.

Teak -- I never said it was intended or not -- all i said was it was prolly used --

I see I used the word nerfed my bad I was typing fast should have put Nerfed and/ or fixed cause either way does it really matter cause SDS should have realized this long before they did what they did and before some players used it to there advantage.

One thing who can say it was a nerf or a fix cause SDS this year have changed / tweaked so many things from last year that who really knows what was intended. Heck I am not even sure they know at this point and they seem so lost that it's not funny.

Its easy to know it was a fix because if it was intended to be repeated the mission would have said so.

There are quite a few bugs which should never have happened (CPU wildness, return of two way glitch, real 99 BS in CO op among others) and SDS needs to figure out how to ensure this doesnt happen again to this degree next year

But without doing the math (15k x days since early access + all available single time xp) I would assume you are right, the earliest Rollins grabbers used it.

@DEF266 sad part is that I feel like we were told that we’d receive more xp and stubs in each program than last year.

Didn’t know that even happened. But makes sense. People always gonna take advantage of something.
