What is with the “no online” people here?

@Shauwn Yes, some people would rather play a pickup sport than dedicate 10,000 hours of their life to train their body and mind to excel at it. Just like maybe you'll go to a bar trivia night and not know as much trivia as Ken Jennings. I guess because you're not a true brain warrior or something. Or bowling, or axe throwing, or any activity. Everyone makes choices with their time, and some ppl one or two interests and some have many, and that's normal, and you don't really have to say someone can't handle something or lacks some toughness because they don't want to get their heart rate & blood pressure up during videogames. That's dumb.

MLB the show is truly the worst online multiplayer game. And this is me not complaining, this is me stating mlb the show is the worst. There is nothing fun about it. It had always been play how you want and gain same rewards, until a few years ago. Then they forced you to play their side [censored] to gain the rewards. SDS has already been paid for their game, they get paid for stubs, why not let the consumer play without being forced.

Who cares

I would say Madden is the worst because that game lives on exploits for online.
just an observation with the Egg program online -
I asked people online to give me 2 doubles and walk boggs. On PS5, 2 guys told me they wouldn't. So I tried on Xbox and 2 guys let me do it no issue. They asked if I could do the same for them. It was cool.
Small sample size but I find generally the Xbox online crowd in this game is more friendly. Doesn't mean they won't exploit the game though.

@jmcdonald1817 Bruv…Madden is 100 times worse online. I wouldn’t even call it a football game anymore, It’s closer to a Marvel Avengers game honestly. Players don’t even matter in Madden, It’s all about abilities aka super powers. And the exploits are insane.

@fubar2k7 I totally understand that - completely man…All I was saying is if you don’t care about your H2H record and are just joining a game to get one hit in order to get a card you want then why not just suck it up for 10 minutes, get the card & then go back to playing offline modes. That’s all I was asking…To me it would be worth it, But I get it.
The reward at the end doesn’t warrant it for me. Replace Yelich with any Dodger and maybe. Where is the reward for playing every inning of 162 games of a franchise? They should toss one of those out there. It would probably be a Lou Gehrig or Cal Ripken.

Probably because the card would be for DD and 95% of the people that play DD arent gonna waste time in Franchise playing 162 nine inning games for a single card. And the people who would play 162 nine inning games in Franchise more than likely wouldnt care about earning a card that they probably would never use anyway.

So the amount of games was a bit much. I obviously said that because I am in the 1% who would get it that also will complete all the programs. The point is they don’t even make you play a single inning of a game to get an egg and we shouldn’t be forced to play an event game and BR game to get one. Even just a hit or homerun. I’ll do the Extreme Program twice over before going online again and facing these whiners in the forum.

@fubar2k7 Honestly to me, its not even a big deal. I understand why people dont like it though. I got the BR because i got into a game, saw my opponent had Boggs batting lead off. I intentionally walked him. When i had Boggs leading off the bottom of the inning, he returned the favor.
-
For me personally, I'll play online more so when my team gets more competitive so I can hang with people who have monster squads already.

That’s how it worked for you. Some people probably logged off once they got their intentional walk.

@Shauwn"would have went pro if it wasn't for my [censored] knee. You aint have no pro scouts watching you at 12 lol you probably played ball and probably did get hurt, but you lost me at pro scouts at 12. And easy on the slow pitch hate, slow pitch softball is for the boys.

I think we all played baseball when we were kids lol. I played from the time i was 6 til i was a sophmore in high school. Smoked weed and got laid for the first time and my pro career was cut short years before it began lol.

@Jacky-Chan1 did you use your "Free Entry" already? The first BR entry is always free, has been since they introduced the mode.

I think the biggest reason I would fit into this topic is not afraid of playing online but more the fact I know I am an average player at best. Also up until like last Wed I also was on the PS4 so factor in PS4 and not as good was like why try it. I will admit now that I have a PS5 I am more tempted to try but again my skill level or lack there of makes me very hesitant to do it.
I do plan on doing the online part of the Hunt tonight but not looking forward to it -- LOL
