White colored uniform name/numbers look grey
-
Tried several times to input the white color for numbers and name and when I go to play a game they are grey. They display white on the create/edit uniform screen but in game they are ugly gray.
Any fix?

This has always bothered me more than it should, & you’re 100% right, it’s most noticeable with white.
Easy fix from an SDS standpoint: they let you select “screened” or “shiny” for your jersey logo. Why not allow the same option for the numbers? The “shiny” finish makes everything so dark looking.
Here’s an even better idea: give your “customize uniforms” a much needed update altogether. No new Jersey designs, no new fonts, NOTHING since its inception.

is there another color to use than total white? Like off white through the color pallete?

To answer your question, no. White has always looked bad, but it looks significantly darker/worse this year.

I did one thing is have a white border over the white color. It sort of works. it doesn't look silver/grey but looks a dull white.

Yep, mine is cream/beige, and you can barely see it. Changed the border and inner to cream, same issue.

One solution is to go to the custom color screen and lower it to blue. Then instead of putting your cursor all the way up on the left hand side, move it to the right slightly. That little bit of blue makes it look more white.

I moved it slightly to the right and it became a light pink. When I tried it in game it still didnt make a difference. Still looked silver/grey. Is that what you mean by lowering it to blue? I used the L stick to move to the right. Did I do it wrong?
Maybe I'll stay w/ the outer and inner colors on the #'s / Name being white. It comes out to a dull white but at least it's white.

So make sure the right section is in the blue area and not the red. That will help. It's a very slight move to the right to make it more white. It also probably depends on your monitor setting as well.
