How do you get Babe Ruth in BR in your lineup as a hitter?

I don't believe you can DH him, unless I'm missing something. However I know this can be done as it just happened. My opponent started a pitcher with someone else. Swapped out Babe as soon as he could and when it was his turn to bat, Babe was batting lead off.
Anyone got a clue how he did this?

Maybe subbed out his DH which allows the pitcher to hit but not sure if that’s the scenario you’re describing. You can check your game log also and see what happened

Double Switch probably. Moved the DH to the Field which eliminated the DH letting the pitcher hit.
