I’m playing against the A’s and Pirates on rookie and they are all low scoring games, for mostly two reasons.

The CPU pitcher throws more balls than a toddler would. As a result of this if the pitch is in the zone, my swings are usually late because I’m surprised he threw a strike.

When I do make contact it tends to be a lot of outs. Most of my team is hitting like garbage as compared to last year when most batted over .400
I usually will win a game by like one run all the time, this shouldn’t be happening in the teams I am facing.
I made like 1K gameplay xp from my last game. At this rate to finish the program, I will need quad xp from here on out. I would get more than this playing franchise….with gameplay sliders turned on.

It’s because we are starting with lower overall cards this year and still being forced to play competitive instead of simulation or casual it won’t get better until we get to the end of the season or we get the better cards

The cpu on rookie is annoying as hell. That being said, I'm routinely putting up 7+ runs in conquest games.
Just gotta be selective and let the cpu walk you.
