BR Season 10 - now they're just messing with us
-
Doing the rewind is to help people get the cards they need to get any GOAT cards they missed.
I for the life of me have NO CLUE how someone got all 3 GOAT cards for season 1. Im like 40 cards short of finishing that set collection and ive done every single program and conquest out there along with TA1 to 100% completion.
-
It required buying a lot of set 1 cards to complete that collection. Afterwards they became progressively easier to complete. This year was 1 big experiment. I hope they learn and adjust for 24. Lots of mistakes were made this year making long time players question the future direction of the franchise.
-
I finished it in 5 hours, made well over 1m stubs and kept Skubal and Newhouser. I focused on as many program players as possible instead of actual good teams

Same here, you can finish this thing real quick because you can get 7 or 8 program cards on your team in most drafts. I got at least 30-35 pts from just the program cards. Made around 1.1 mil stubs from the boss rewind pack alone since I already had J-Rod from the last program and didn't really need to keep anyone else.
Started the program with around 1.2 mil stubs, got Braun from the boss pack, bought Bryce and even after buying Bryce ended up with a little over 2 mil stubs.
-
@eatyum that's what I'm doing. My lineup is loaded with Silvers at the top of the batting order.
-
I haven’t even had a game last 1 inning and already have two people quit lol
-
@virusts It's nuts to me that people quit in BR. Play the game, get your points, and work the program. I've had games where I'm getting crushed, and I'll keep my pitcher in just to earn points towards the missions.

Yep. I found this year to be terrible. Haven't played in a long time and don't have the game downloaded anymore. Can't justify getting next year if they do nothing with franchise because DD has completely jumped the shark for me...

@SuntLacrimae50
The grind was horrendous for duplicate cards of juiced up mostly mediocre players. I know they wanted to try something different but it largely missed the mark. -
Don't judge me, but I finished this run today. I woke up at 3 am, as my wife is pretty sick with a cold, and I couldn't get back to sleep. So, I fired up MLBTS and started to grind. It took a little while to find games, but I was able to play. On my last game, I managed to pull out a come-from-behind win, got my 12 XBH's for one entry, along with the 4,000 XPs, and hit 100 points exactly. I'm pretty sure this makes me the best BR player in the world, even though I will never, ever, ever go 12-0.

Just went up against a guy was 68-1. What an obscene record. I honestly didn’t even want to try so I forfeited. Then next against another 12-0 player but that ended up being easy.
