This game has turned into a clown show. The attributes are out of control not to mention everyone gets a great card now regardless if they're actually a good player in real life. When I look through the cards I laugh and cry. You can't even use some of the greatest players ever because they give them whack swings. Meanwhile some kid who will never make the MLB will have a cracked swing. Please someone from the development team make all this nonsense make sense.

Bingo. Mays and Gehrig are passed over in favor of the new flavor of the month. It’s all about catering to newer, younger, casual fans while crapping all over some of the all time greats. I understand that SDS only has a limited amount of players rights but they really need to either pony up, radically change sets and seasons, or at least give elite versions of the GOATS. Will they do it? Very doubtful, as I’m guessing a good chunk of newer players don’t even know who Mays and Gehrig are let alone how truly great they were regardless of the era they played in. -

@fubar2k7 I couldn't wait to use Gehrig several years ago. I don't even consider him anymore. It's a shame.

Yeah the watered down versions of Mays and Gehrig get very little use and if they are gauging player interest off that then they are dead in the water. What is strange is that both of them had very good cards just a couple of years ago. Literally all they would have to do is rerelease those versions and people would be happy.

Mays had an end of the game collection card not long ago and now Adam Wainwright has a better hitting card.

You may have hit upon something very interesting and fun with that comment. Imagine if they made a program with the hottest cards from the previous years. I’m always hearing you fellas talk about playing all the different years of the game and wishing this cards swing would return etc.
Maybe they could even poll everyone who had played these versions for their favorite all times cards and release them in a programI think that sounds neat as all get out although I’d certainly not have any input being new to the game I’d still love a chance to have a little taste of some of these bygone cards that I’ll otherwise never get to try

It seems obvious with the ?????? ???? that Willie Mays is the guy finally getting a card matching the best Mantle, Aaron and Ruth cards. It’ll be mid-November. The new game comes out in a blink of an eye so why bother. It’s disrespectful to give a guy you could legitimately argue is the best ever a card everyone wants this late over Adam Wainright.
