TA 3 & TA 4
-
Caught up on all the Other Programs that matter. Now I just need to catch up on the TAs.
I'm less than 10% on all six TA 3 Divisions and also the same for TA4.
With Season 5 starting in less than 2 weeks; I don't think I have time to complete both 3 & 4.
With the cards from TA 3 becoming pretty much unusable, except for a WC spot and maybe a MS or two, would my time be better spent working on TA 4?
I already unlocked the first TA Boss pack, and chose Adley; so he'll be my WC.
I could finish 3 after the next Season is over, and any card should be usable.
Thoughts?

Do the maps and March to October for the divisions and you'll be about 60% done. Plus, the MTOs will count for 4 also. Then do the program missions. Do the moments last, you probably won't have to do many of them. The only time I used the TA cards were for the programs and the collections. The squad restriction was lifted for the 3 maps and I imagine they will be lifted for 4 when 5 comes out.
I've purposely waited to do them so I could get points from MTO for two programs at one time.
My spreadsheet helped a lot when it came to making teams for the missions. I don't have the spreadsheet for 4 nailed down yet because I haven't begun those programs, but I have one for 3, if you want to use it.
Edit - I forgot, the TA cards are good for the POTM program (collection), but if I remember correctly, it's only 1 point. So, it's not a big deal.

I'm not to keen on MTO. I'd rather play MS and get PXP towards my players.
What about the Showdowns? Are they like the Conquest maps; where you just have to finish them one to get credit for both divisions?
Also, are you saying that I should still do TA 3 before I start on TA 4?

It doesn't really matter. Look at the cards you'll get and if there's one you want more than another, then go for it. The only reason I'm waiting on 4 is because I want to get points for both 4 and 5 at the same time when I do MTO for them, and so the squad requirement will be lifted.
I don't know about the showdowns, I don't do them unless forced.

On avg, how long does it take to finish an MTO and what setting do you play on?

Could do it this way- TA3 mini seasons, you'll get the vouchers for TA3 and the pxp for both 3 and 4,after you can do the TA4 mini seasons with the TA3 cards earning progress in both, then when you have enough TA4 or 3 is complete,ta4 cards in the ta5 mini seasons, etc. The playoff mini seasons would work as well,it's limited teams but it covers every division and no set restrictions.

It depends on my mood. If I want sure points (and the most I can get), I will play on Rookie, otherwise, I play on All-Star. The scale of achievable points goes up with the more difficult levels, but if I don't do well on those levels, my points will be lower than on Rookie or AS.
Here is the table of points. I have this as a tab in my spreadsheet so I can select which difficulty level I want to play on and plan how many points I will get. When playing on Rookie, I always get the max points, but when I have played on AS, my points have fallen somewhere in the scale.

Time to complete...I've never kept track, but I would say around 6-8 hours. That may be on the high side. @BxnnyMxn__MLBTS may have input on this too because he has played MTO a lot. You're only playing around 1-3 innings and only a couple games a week - until you get to the playoffs, then it's every game, but still 1-3 innings - unless you're in a player lock situation. It's a lot like RTTS in that aspect.

MTO is an excellent way to grab huge amounts of points in the TA programs and I can go from March to World Series in a in a couple of hours of playing. The better you do the quicker you can complete it. I was able to complete most of them and have the rest in the high percentage range and I’ve not made a single lineup using a theme based team and have only done a handful of the moments. I play only on Rookie and I don’t fool with any of the trades or continuations as soon as I get my last batch of points for the World Series with a particular region then I immediately start up a new instance with the next region. Is very fast and efficient this way. Hope this helps.

You get through it way faster than me. I need to pick up my game!

Ok. So by what I'm reading; I should still work on TA 3 now and then when Season 5 drops, whatever I don't have done in TA 4, I can double dip with 5.
