MLB The Show 22 no longer working?

Upon starting up the application all buttons on my controller, aside from the PS button and share button, no longer work. I sit through the intro video but once I reach the title screen I am unable to continue. Anyone else having this issue?

UPDATE: The thing is happening with my copy of MLB The Show 19. Controller locks up and can go no further than the title screen.
